Gwinnett’s Dave Lezotte caught up with 2012 Mississippi Braves RHP David Hale, who made his major league debut toward the end of the 2014 season in Atlanta. Hale is battling for an Atlanta rotation spot out of spring.

This time last year, right-hander David Hale was working on adding a sinker to his repertoire and preparing for his first Triple-A season with Gwinnett. A year later, the Marietta, GA native finds himself competing for an Opening Day roster spot with the Atlanta Braves, having already made his Major League season and postseason debuts last fall.
